Description Labradorite is an unusual mineral. It can display a beautiful iridescent play of colours – mainly blues, greens and golds. This effect is known as labradorescence and is due to internal fractures in the mineral that reflect light back and forth. This beautiful chunk of Free Form Labradorite has been carved and polished to create a lovely statement piece, approximately W:7cm, H:9.5cm. From certain angles, it contains beautiful iridescent flashes of blue and gold. There are photos from different angles of this lovely piece – so that you can see exactly what you are buying. A Stone of New Ideas, Labradorite is named after Labrador in Canada, where it was first discovered; it is said to stimulate the imagination and help you find your true path in life. *Please note that this item is only available for collection or for local delivery (within 4 miles of Maidenhead, Berkshire) as it is too fragile to be sent out by post.
