About this piece The large Bean Rí (She King) pendant is the statement piece of this collection. Designed by Goldsmith Martina Hamilton, It is Inspired by the mythological warrior queens of ancient Ireland and modeled on bronze age spear heads displayed at the Irish National Museum. Martina has sought to embody the beauty and strength of Ireland's ancient queens as they were rendered in mythical tales and folklore, alongside the the fiercely elegant shape of the spear head. The turn in the spear shape gives the piece its undeniable flame like elegance. The Bean Rí collection was named best jewellery design by DCCOI at Showcase Ireland 2015.
