Antique print, hand coloured from 1833 after William Jardine. It is titled, The Drill, Papio Leucophaeus. The Drill is an old world monkey closely related to the Mandril Baboon. The print was published as part of the Naturalist Library by W.H. Lizars, Edinburgh. The prints are approximately 10 by 17 cm’s. The prints are in good condition, paper will show ageing and foxing, please see pictures. Pencil note on top of print from previous owner.
